This past weekend I celebrated a milestone birthday. Crazy I know! Initially, I planned a trip to go away and figured I would just do dinner on the day of which was this past Friday. However, last minute I decided to do a dinner followed by a soirée with some of my family and close friends. The entire night was truly special and everything turned out better than I thought it would.
As you can imagine there was A LOT of drinking, more drinking and me playing the ultimate hostess haha, but I was able to get a few pictures in of my birthday attire.
I am obsessed with purple hair (if you have not noticed) and my wonderful stylist @monibdstylist really hooked me up with this purple ombre effect I have going on. This photo only reinforced that.
Anyways, for my big night I wanted to be a vision in white, but unfortunately the dress I wanted to wear did not work out. So I literally had to pull something together the night before from my closet. Thankfully, it all worked out.
I knew I wanted to do glitz; hence the gold sequin bustier. I continued with gold accents and added key black pieces. I finished the look with a pop of color on my lips (and hair) and a stand out pearl choker.

Tomorrow I will be in sunny Jamaica for some much needed rest and relaxation. I am looking forward to spas, pools/beaches and drinks with one of my best friends. Stay tuned for style diary posts :-).
