I was deeply saddened by the news of Oscar de la Renta’s passing earlier this week. I admired the fashion legend for his spirit and the art he created with his pieces.

Stunning. Classic. Feminine. Those are the three words that come to mind when I reflect on the decades of gowns he has shared with us. We can go down the list of iconic women and A-list celebrities he has designed for ranging from Hilary Clinton to my muse Sarah Jessica Parker. However, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on a few looks from his runway collections over the years.

These made me fall in lust with them at first sight. A reaction like that is priceless. One of the many reasons this American icon will forever be missed.
