If you follow this blog then you already know how much of a shoe whore I am. So when I got it in my head, 2 weeks ago, that I needed yet another lace up sandal my search began. Crazy enough a good friend of mine has also been on the search for a cute find that will not break the bank, which prompted this trend lust post.
Since spring is here (although you wouldn’t be able to tell in New York City) it is time to start adding some new finds to my wardrobe. I love anything strappy which is why lace up sandals always catch my attention. Last week while browsing inside one of my favorite Aldo locations I came across these beauties. These aren’t laced up all the way, but I like the lace detail at the top. Not to mention the design itself is pretty dope.

It took me a long time to decide on a color. I typically gravitate towards black, then I have a mini talk with myself on thinking outside the box and then I purchase a color version. I love color, but black is just easier to wear with everything. So this time I was truly stumped. I actually love the orange/red more, but I did not want to make a rushed decision. After thinking about it for a few days I am completely sold on the red and I have all these ideas on how I would wear it. Clearly the red is a new addition to my closet, but I still want a black or blush tone pair and found a few great options below.
