Spring is here and everyone seems to be getting married, but with a wedding comes the task of “what to wear?” Gone are the days when it is expected for everyone to come in formal wear and there are certain style and length etiquettes that guests should adhere to. The scope for wedding attire has evolved to the point where a crop top is beyond acceptable (if done right). See my crop top look below for a wedding I attended early last year.

Nowadays, guests are free to play around with styles, silhouettes and color variations especially during the spring/summer seasons. My favorite thing to wear to a wedding these days is a crop top inspired look, something with the back out or a pants look. Since my client wanted a chic dress I decided to give her some inspiration by pulling some of my  favorite dresses from ASOS wedding collection. For those of you not familiar with this collection, ASOS has curated pages for everything wedding. Regardless if you are a bridesmaid or a guest, attending a beach wedding or something more formal, the options really are endless.

My client ended up picking the beautiful Lilac Jarlo Delilah Maxi Dress with Ruched Bodice and Lace Inserts which we paired with silver ankle strap sandals, embellished silver earrings, a simple bracelet, cocktail ring and white clutch with silver hardware to change up the color scheme.

Which one of these dresses will you pick for your next wedding?
