This past weekend I attended a fabulous brunch titled The Black Brunch with some bloggers from the NYC Fashion Bloggers Meetup group I am a part of. The brunch was held at Libation NYC and the theme happened to be black. Black is one of my favorite colors and it dominates my wardrobe so I had no issues coming up with a black look befitting for the day.
I love maxi skirts (as I am sure you have realized by now) and I have several black ones. It’s been a while since I’ve worn the one above so I wanted to give it some attention.
I wanted to create a bodysuit effect with a bit of lace so I paired the skirt with a black lace top and a strapless black bra.
To accessorize, I went with a black and silver waist belt, silver cuff earring, black and sliver spike earring, silver bangles and my latest fall find, cut out black booties.
Lastly, I pulled the entire look together with my Rebel lipstick from MAC Cosmetics and my sleek leather jacket from Joe Fresh.
