For my last day of fashion week events I went for an edgy, but chic look aka my cool girl swag attire. I needed a look that would be perfect for a work day, a fashion show, cocktails and a wrap up fashion week party all in one.
After browsing Express a week or two back, I purchased this adorable black and white printed midi skirt. I knew when I laid my eyes on it that it was a match made in heaven and I was right. Although Express is not a go-to store of mine I cannot deny that I have a few recent pieces from the retailer that I really love. Their skirts truly fit me to perfection so it’s obvious I need to add a few more to my wardrobe, but let me digress.
To continue with the cool girl vibe I rocked this skirt with a graphic tee, my favorite cape blazer and of course my shoes of the week. A chignon has been working for me so I pulled my hair back, added silver accessories to compliment the look and wrapped it all up with a red lip.
Since I did have a long day I opted to pair this look with some sneakers during the day and then change into my heels later on. Per my norm, I live out of my handbag because you never know what opportunities will present themselves for the day and I like to be prepared.
