New Year! New Awards Season! We all know how much I love reviewing the red carpet – good bad or indifferent. Last night, the 73rd Annual Golden Globes Awards Ceremony took place and Hollywood stars graced the carpet. I was not blown away with the choices of the night, but I will say that Jennifer Lopez, Jaimie Alexander and Zendaya were my favorites. Nevertheless, see below for my thoughts on some other notables.

Jennifer Lopez gave me Hollywood glamour on the carpet in this stunning Giambattista Valli gown. Everything about this did it for me. From the silhouette of the dress, the gorgeous styling with accessories, clutch and shoes and the picture perfect makeup and hair. #slayed would be an understatement here. My favorite of the night hands down.

The absolutely gorgeous Jaimie Alexander, once again, stunned on the red carpet in a Genny gown. Emerald was her color for the night and she did it justice. I am not sure which look I loved more this or her Armani Privé look from the 2015 Emmy’s. This Blindspot star really can do no wrong to me. Love this!

Zendaya was the picture of pure elegance in this Marchesa burgundy tiered gown. Something about this looks gives me vintage glam. Lovely!

Emmy Rossum is always the picture of a classic beauty on the carpet and last night was no different. Her choice for the night was a cherry-red Armani Privé number. Classic!

The ageless and lovely Jade Pinkett-Smith dazzled, also in Emerald green, in a Versace gown.

Chicago PD star, Sophia Bush, keeps it simple and chic in a black Narcisco Rodriguez gown. The fit of the dress here was perfection.

Olivia Wilde glowed in a wine Michael Kors gown. She usually keeps things sleek on the carpet and last night she looked great.

Winner of the night, Jennifer Lawrence, was another vision on the carpet in Dior. Simple with a bit of edge!

Orange is the New Black star, Laverne Cox, was an Angel in white in an Elizabeth Kennedy gown.

There is something about this Saint Laurent gown that looks effortless on Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Sexy!

Another winner for the night, Taraji P. Henson, also opted for white in Stella McCartney. I have to say this look did not do it for me. I really wish she would have done more, but she looked nice nonetheless.

America Ferrera looked pretty in a yellow Jenny Packham gown. The movement on this really enhanced the beauty of the gown.

Miss Golden Globe 2016, Corinne Fox was a beautiful vision in a nude and sheer embroidered gown. Absolutely tasteful and stunning. This was perfect!

I really adore Cate Blanchett and her work in Carol was pretty amazing. I had to include this look in the roundup because there is something about this tassel overloaded look that I like. She opted for a light pink Givenchy gown. I have so many mixed feelings about it, but hate is not one of them. I think that my confusion is what has me intrigued. There is something weirdly stunning about it. I think that she owns this look.

Gina Rodriguez gave me Belle from Beauty and the Beast in this Zac Posen navy blue gown. She oozed radiance. Gorgeous!

The lovely Jenna Dewan Tatum also opted for the color blue in this breathe taking Zuhair Murad gown. The detail here is impeccable. Just beautiful!

Orange is the New Black star, Uzo Aduba, wore a black sequined piece on the carpet. I actually do not mind the dress even though it is not my favorite from her, but I think the hair and makeup missed the mark here.

Last, but certainly not least, the lovely Viola Davis was the epitome of sophistication in this beautiful Marchesa gown.
