This past weekend I caught up with some of my gals for dinner and drinks in the Meatpacking District here in New York City. I love catching up with my girls. It’s always nice to take a moment out of our busy schedules and let loose for a bit.
I knew I wanted to wear some new pieces from Fly Jane and Nasty Gal so I decided to go for some bold chicness.
I am obsessed with this Champagne Taste Cape Blazer from Nasty Gal like obsessed. The fit is true to size and it really drapes nicely. When it came to wearing the shorts I was a little hesitant because the weather in New York City has been on the shaky side. However, I decided to wear them anyway and it worked out for me. The bodysuit has slits on the side and I chose citrus to pair with the shorts as a surprise color. The neon colors complimented the bold look I was going for. The look was completed with accessories, my favorite Collin Stuart sandals and of course a pop of color on the lips with my MAC Red lipstick.
