Whenever holidays come around it is always an excuse to travel somewhere, at least for me it is, but this past memorial weekend one of my BFF’s and I decided to park ourselves right here in New York City for a staycation. A staycation is exactly what it sounds like. We spent Memorial Weekend at the Standard Hotel and hung out with the masses in the Meatpacking District in New York City for a bit. We’ve done a few staycations, my best friends and I, so this was a no brainer for us. The weekend was fabulously spent eating, drinking, styling, profiling and of course me working (bloggers never sleep). I truly do love my best friends and how fashionable they all are so for this edition of “Outfit of the Day” I wanted to feature the both of us.
When packing for any vacation, especially a short one, it is important to pack versatile pieces that can be used for different looks. Not only does it help lighten your load (ladies love to overpack), but you would be surprised how many looks you can produce out of one piece. So this past Memorial Weekend, my best friend and I did just that.
This top was a special moment for me because I have not worn a crop top this short EVER, but as I mentioned before I am #teamfitness and #getinshape. This outfit proves working out and eating right is working. So I am definitely excited about that.
