On Monday I had the opportunity to attend NYLON Magazine Rebel Fashion Party and I had a great time. It is always a pleasure to turn up for a few hours on a Monday night during New York Fashion Week. I attended the event with a few friends, mingled, indulged in some speciality cocktails and heard R&B sensation, Tinashe perform.
I have been itching to wear my Coral Zara Palm Tree dress before the summer was out and this was the perfect opportunity. To transition the look more for nighttime I added my Nasty Gal Cape Blazer, simple black ankle strap sandals and tied it together with a dark lip.
I am having an obsession with dark lips these days. I thought about adding my MAC Heroine instead of MAC Rebel, but it would have taken the look slightly in a different direction. Makeup can truly sway an outfit. This fall season I will be indulging in some shades from NARS new collection so stay tuned for those pairings.
