I always considered Joan Rivers the grandmother of fashion. She was fabulous, hilarious and extremely real. All qualities you can admire in someone who has lived decades being nothing short of themselves, flaws and all. As much as I adore the show Fashion Police (as the loyal fan I am) there was an extra reason to watch with Joan on the air. Throughout all of the raw jokes and opinions she provided a unique and immeasurable presence to any environment. She captivated me! Our paths crossed once or twice, but I never did get the opportunity to meet her. I would have liked to experience that encounter. The world has lost another great one and I had to take a moment to look back on some of Joan’s red carpet looks.
